View prepared a comprehensive set of marketing items for Pilot Properties, from bespoke branding to a new Webflow site to custom marketing materials.
Pilot Properties is a real estate advising startup headed by Tia Farmikidis, industry pro and expert property consultant. As she began her entrepreneurial journey, Tia found herself needing a polished website, a logo that represented her well, branding for her new company, and marketing materials to get the ball rolling. She came to our team after being referred by another View client, eager to get started so she could take flight on her journey. View laid out a clear roadmap for how we’d achieve the goals she had in mind, and then got right to work.
Step 1: Branding
Moodboard Creation
Before anything else, we had to build a branding foundation for Pilot Properties. For our team, this entails a moodboard process. Four moodboards were built out, each with a unique direction based on our initial call with the client. Each moodboard included fonts, a color palette, sample headlines and copy, web elements, imagery, and graphic elements to help give the client a well-rounded feel for what it would look like and mean for their brand. Moodboards ranged from adventurous and bold to industrial and dependable, all with the client’s vision in mind. After initial review and feedback with the client, View merged two moodboards into a unified visual direction that balanced both concepts.

Brand Guidelines
From there, brand guidelines were developed, giving the selected moodboard structure and purpose for use on websites, marketing materials, and beyond. The finalized brand uses a nostalgic dark green pulled from the client’s previous business card and adds in a calming teal and a pop of pink. The client enjoyed that the pink added a nod to femininity in a traditionally masculine industry. The selected fonts are bold and direct, alluding to the founder’s can-do attitude and commitment to taking action. Architectural and city illustrations add meaning and a subtle sense of whimsy across the brand’s web and marketing materials.
